Allo Dentiste, located at 4030 Wellington Street, Verdun, Quebec H4G 1V3, collects and protects personal information in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and the professional rules that apply to dentists. Who is responsible
Our Privacy Officer is responsible for the protection of personal information. Questions, access requests and complaints can be sent to the Privacy Officer at admin@allodentiste.ca, by phone at 514-492-1311, or by mail at the address above.
What we collect on this website
- Appointment requests: your name, phone number, email address, insurance provider, how you heard about us, and any comments you choose to write.
- New-patient offer and waitlist forms: the same details, plus the gift you select.
- Career applications and event forms: the details and documents you submit.
- Technical data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through analytics cookies.
Please do not include detailed health information in free-text boxes. We will ask for it in person, in a protected clinical record.
Why we collect it
We use this information to answer your request, contact you about an appointment, assess applications, run our new-patient offers, and understand how the website is used so we can improve it. We collect only what we need for these purposes.
Consent
By submitting a form you consent to our use of the information for the purpose stated on that form. Submitting a request is not a booked appointment until our team confirms it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal obligations.
Who sees your information
Form submissions are emailed to authorized staff at the clinic. We use service providers to run the website, send email and protect forms from spam, including our website host, our email delivery provider (SendGrid), Cloudflare (spam protection) and Google (analytics). They may process data outside Quebec. Before any transfer outside Quebec we make sure the information would receive adequate protection, as the law requires. We do not sell your information.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic. It sets cookies on your device. You can refuse or delete them at any time in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for, then destroy or anonymize it. Clinical records created at the clinic are kept for the period required by the regulations of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec.
How we protect it
We limit access to authorized staff, protect the website with security tools and encrypted connections, and keep a register of confidentiality incidents. If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people affected.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop using it where the law allows. Send your request to our Privacy Officer; we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Children
Parents or guardians should submit forms for children under 14.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
