Restore Your Smile After a Dental Injury

Accidents happen and are impossible to plan for, but the team at Allô Dentiste is here to help you if you experience a dental emergency. Broken or chipped teeth can be restored as soon as possible to ensure you don't have to go too long with a smile that not only doesn't look its best, but doesn't function its best, too.

We can correct your broken or chipped tooth through a variety of options — veneers, bonding, or crowns — depending on the issue:

  • Dental bonding is best for small, minor chips and uses a resin shaded to match your natural teeth to restore your smile.
  • Dental veneers are thin porcelain or composite shells that are bonded to the front of the tooth to restore its appearance.
  • Dental crowns are recommended for larger breaks or teeth that have been weakened — to not only restore function and appearance, but also to protect the remaining tooth structure.
  • Fillings are used if the chipped part of the tooth resulted in decay.

What to do right away

  • Save the portion of the tooth if you can, and keep it clean or place it in milk until you get to our office. We may be able to reattach it.
  • Call our office right away so we can restore your smile and relieve your pain.
  • If there is a sharp edge left in your mouth, cover it with orthodontic wax or sugarless gum. Do not chew on the affected side.
