Oral cancer is highly treatable when it's caught early. That's why we screen every patient at every visit — no extra appointment, no referral needed beforehand. We check the inside and outside of your lips, your gums, tongue, insides of your cheeks, roof of your mouth, and back of your throat — looking for anything unusual: lumps, spots, patches of colour, or asymmetries. It takes just a few minutes.
What if something looks different?
We'll refer you to a specialist right away. Most findings turn out to be benign, but early action matters for the ones that aren't. Coming in every six months gives us the best chance of catching anything early.
